<p>Fresubin Energy Drinks are fibre-free oral nutritional supplements with a high energy density (300 kcal per EasyDrink – 1.5 kcal/ml).
Fresubin Energy Drinks provide a balanced fatty acid profile to support the cardiovascular system, blood vessels and the immune system.
An intake covering requirements for vitamins and trace elements is ensured from 3 EasyDrinks per day.
In the mixed case you receive 4 EasyDrinks of each of the 6 great-tasting flavours, which you can also purchase from us as single-flavour cases.</p>
<p><b>Product features:</b>
- High-calorie (1.5 kcal/ml)
- No fibre (except chocolate: low in fibre)
- 6 different flavours
- Very low in lactose
- Gluten-free</p>
<p><b>Dosage:</b>
- Average daily dose for supplementary nutrition: 2–3 EasyDrinks
- Average daily dose for exclusive nutrition: 5–7 EasyDrinks</p>
<p><b>Storage of the nutrition</b>
- Optimal storage conditions at room temperature (15°C to 25°C).
- Refrigerated storage (up to 4°C) is possible for 3 months without loss of quality; however, Fresubin Energy Drink Chocolate should not be stored below 15°C.
- Storage at higher temperatures (up to 40°C) is possible for up to 1 month. Storage at higher temperatures (up to 40°C) generally causes faster, greater creaming, a more pronounced drop in pH, a darker colour and accelerated vitamin degradation.
- Opened containers can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.</p>
<p><b>Indications:</b>
Enteral nutrition is generally indicated when the ability for adequate normal nutrition is absent or limited, in particular in cases of:
- Increased energy and nutrient requirements
- Wasting diseases
- Loss of appetite
- Convalescence
- Chronic inflammatory bowel diseases</p>
<p><b>Contraindications:</b>
- General contraindications to enteral nutrition such as intestinal atony, ileus.
- Relative contraindications in hepatic insufficiency, renal insufficiency, acute pancreatitis depending on status. Metabolic disorders or intolerance to an ingredient contained in Fresubin Energy Drink.
- Not suitable for children under 1 year of age.</p>
