Fresubin Protein Energy Drinks provide a balanced fatty acid profile to support the cardiovascular system, blood vessels and the immune system.
An adequate supply of vitamins and trace elements is ensured from 3 EasyDrinks per day.
In the single-flavour cartons you receive 24 EasyDrinks of the chosen flavour. To allow you to try all 6 flavours, we also offer a mixed carton with 4 EasyDrinks of each of the 6 flavours.

Dosage:
- Average daily dose for supplemental nutrition: 2–3 EasyDrinks

Storage
- Optimal storage conditions at room temperature (15°C to 25°C).
- Refrigerated storage (up to 4°C) possible for 3 months without loss of quality; however, Fresubin Energy Drink Chocolate should not be stored below 15°C.
- Storage at higher temperatures (up to 40°C) possible for up to 1 month. Storage at higher temperatures (up to 40°C) generally results in faster, greater creaming, a more pronounced drop in pH value, a darker colour and accelerated vitamin degradation.
- Opened containers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
Indications:
Enteral nutrition is generally indicated in cases of absent or reduced ability to meet nutritional needs through a normal diet, in particular for:
- Increased energy and nutrient requirements
- Wasting diseases
- Impaired wound healing
- Loss of appetite
- Convalescence
- Chronic inflammatory bowel diseases
Contraindications:
- General contraindications for enteral nutrition such as intestinal atony, ileus, acute gastrointestinal bleeding.
- Not suitable in cases of severe malabsorption.
- Not suitable in cases of congenital metabolic disorders or intolerance to an ingredient contained in Fresubin Protein Energy Drink.
- In severe organ failure such as severe hepatic or renal insufficiency, Fresubin Protein Energy Drink should be used with caution depending on the patient’s nitrogen tolerance.
- Not suitable for children under 1 year.
