Disinfect Iodine
Disinfect Iodine is an iodine-based surface disinfectant with a broad spectrum of activity and excellent deep-penetrating and long-lasting effect.
The iodine complex gives Disinfect Iodine its pronounced effectiveness against viruses and spores (spore-forming bacteria such as clostridia). Disinfect Iodine successfully combats, among others, the pathogens that cause the following diseases.
Pigs:
Classical swine fever, Aujeszky’s disease, salmonellosis, dysentery, parvovirosis, enterotoxaemia, circovirus disease, swine erysipelas, PIA, APP, PRRS, FMD, snout and nasal disease, mycoplasmas, pasteurellosis, influenza, clostridia, etc.
Cattle:
Foot-and-mouth disease, IBR/IPV, BVD/MD, bovine influenza, etc.
Poultry:
Gumboro, Marek’s disease, avian influenza (H5N1), salmonellosis, Newcastle disease, intestinal infections (E. coli), mycoses, eczema, staphylococci, streptococci, enterococci, etc.
Instructions for use and dosage:
Apply to thoroughly cleaned surfaces – apply 400 ml of ready-to-use solution per m².
Application concentration / Minimum contact time / Application rate
Disinfection 2% / 2 hours / 0.4 l per m²
Distribute the ready-to-use solution evenly over the surfaces using a high-pressure cleaner, foam lance, conventional sprayer, fogging equipment or spray systems.
Fields of application:
Disinfect Iodine is ideally suited for disinfecting all kinds of surfaces, e.g. floors, walls, fittings, transport equipment, etc. in pig, poultry and cattle housing, slaughterhouses, animal shelters, hatcheries, insemination stations, veterinary institutes, etc. Disinfect Iodine is particularly used in the rearing of young animals such as piglets, calves and chicks.
