Wound Packing Trainer
This realistic Wound Packing Trainer is ideal for emergency training and simulation patient programmes (SPP).
It features a realistic, anatomically correct large-calibre gunshot wound (expert-validated) with a bleeding function, ideal for practising wound packing.
The trainer is made from high-quality, highly durable silicone. All haemostatic wound dressings can be used for bleeding control.
We recommend using our washable artificial blood (Art.Nr. 7024). After use, the trainer is quick and easy to clean.

Ready-to-use vacuum tubes for a blood volume of 1.6 ml (+0.4 ml sodium citrate solution already contained in the tube) = 2 ml total volume. The tube stopper can be covered with a barcode label.

Application:

Puncture the vein, attach the tube. It fills automatically with the correct blood volume. Shake and place in the ESR stand.

Read after 30 minutes.

The Prolene FS2 from ETHICON is a monofilament, non-absorbable synthetic suture in blue. It offers high tensile strength, a smooth surface, is non-capillary and has excellent tissue compatibility.
