Fresubin Protein Energy Drinks are fibre-free oral nutritional supplements with a high energy density (300 kcal per EasyDrink – 1.5 kcal/ml).
Fresubin Protein Energy Drinks offer a balanced fatty acid profile to support the cardiovascular system, blood vessels and the immune system.
An adequate supply of vitamins and trace elements is ensured from 3 EasyDrinks daily.
The single-flavour cartons each contain 24 EasyDrinks in the desired flavour. To try all 6 flavours, we also offer a mixed carton containing 4 EasyDrinks of each of the 6 flavours.

Dosage: - Average daily dose for supplementary nutrition: 2–3 EasyDrinks
- Average daily dose for exclusive nutrition: 5 EasyDrinks

Storage - Optimal storage at room temperature (15°C to 25°C).
- Refrigerated storage (up to 4°C) for 3 months possible without loss of quality; however, Fresubin Energy Drink Chocolate should not be stored below 15°C.
- Storage at higher temperatures (up to 40°C) possible for up to 1 month. Storage at higher temperatures (up to 40°C) generally leads to faster and greater creaming, a more pronounced drop in pH, a darker colour and accelerated vitamin degradation.
- Opened containers can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

Indications: Enteral nutrition is generally indicated in cases of absent or limited ability to consume sufficient normal food, in particular in cases of:
- Increased energy and nutrient requirements
- Catabolic diseases
- Impaired wound healing
- Loss of appetite
- Convalescence
- Chronic inflammatory bowel diseases

Contraindications: - General contraindications for enteral nutrition such as intestinal atony, ileus, acute gastrointestinal bleeding.
- Not suitable in cases of severe malabsorption.
- Not suitable in cases of congenital metabolic disorders or intolerance to any ingredient contained in Fresubin Protein Energy Drink.
- In severe organ failure such as severe hepatic or renal insufficiency, Fresubin Protein Energy Drink should be used with caution depending on the patient’s nitrogen tolerance.
- Not suitable for children under 1 year.
