ES dressings are 17-thread gauze compresses made from dressing gauze in accordance with EN 14079-VM 17 with folded-in cut edges (= ES). As a classic dressing material with a wide range of applications, they are indispensable in wound care
Application:
For general wound care, in particular for initial treatment of dirty, infected and heavily exuding wounds; as swabs and as compresses for minor surgical procedures.
Characteristics:
ES dressings have good absorbency, are air-permeable, soft and pliable.
Thanks to the folded-in cut edges, ES dressings can be unfolded several times and used in larger formats without troublesome edge threads occurring.
User-appropriate dressing and pack sizes always allow cost-effective use.
Gauze compresses with a woven-in Telatrast X-ray contrast thread are available under the name Telacomp.
