In the presence of infections with various Influenza A subtypes, including H1N1 (the causative agent of so-called swine flu), H3N2 and also avian flu subtypes such as H5N3, H7N3, H9N2 and H5N1, this test yields positive results, as it does for the B variant.

You will receive the test in either a pack of 5, 10 or 25.

The CLEARTEST Influenza rapid test should be carried out as soon as possible after the onset of typical flu symptoms, such as rapidly rising fever with sudden onset of illness, as well as severe sore throat, headache and aching limbs. If these symptoms are indeed influenza, influenza therapy should be started no later than 48 hours after onset to ensure the best chance of success. Especially during periods of high influenza incidence, make sure you keep an adequate supply of the CLEARTEST Influenza rapid test.
