Nikki, the nursing manikin with auscultation, offers 11 anterior and 4 posterior auscultation sites with 42 high-quality sounds from Cardionics. The manikin was specially developed for scenario-based simulation to improve competence in patient care and advanced nursing skills.

Nikki, the nursing manikin simulates an adult, life-size patient and includes the NursingScope auscultation training stethoscope. NursingScope is an electronic simulation training stethoscope developed for auscultation training purposes or O.S.C.E. (Objective Structured Clinical Examination). It works wirelessly with the controller tablet (included), giving the instructor access to Cardionics’ large sound library. The instructor can select and change all physiological and pathological sounds that the participant will hear with the NursingScope once the stethoscope has been placed on the correct auscultation site.

The auscultation sound library includes:
21 heart sounds
15 lung sounds
6 bowel sounds
Auscultation sounds can be changed seamlessly on the controller tablet for each of the 15 sites using NursingScope’s wireless functionality. This allows the instructor to adapt the scenario on the spot to fit any nursing curriculum or training programme. Nikki, the nursing manikin has interchangeable genitalia and can be positioned like a real patient with natural movement of the arms, legs and joints. You can even sit the patient care manikin upright in bed for treatments. It is made of durable, unbreakable and water-resistant plastic to ensure a long service life in everyday training use.
