This fascinating model of an average European adult skull can be disassembled into all 22 individual bones. In developing the model, a real human skull was digitised using state-of-the-art technology and then idealised, i.e. adapted to standard anatomy. This clearly sets it apart from almost all competing products, some of which are too small or inaccurate in their level of detail. Dimensionally stable individual parts with practical magnetic connections make handling the model extremely easy. The highly detailed bones do not need to be laboriously plugged together; instead, they virtually assemble themselves into the correct position. The history of the family business begins in 1950 in Lauf, Baden-Württemberg, when Johannes Erler founded the company. A short time later, his son-in-law Walter Zimmer joined him.
