A balanced diet with optimal basic nutrients, needs-based concentrate feeding and the best supplementary feeds is just as important as the best housing conditions and an individually tailored training programme.
Optimal provision of vitamins, trace elements, amino acids and selected herbs supports physiological organ functions and metabolic processes that are necessary for building muscle and improving performance.
Expert tip: The horse’s willingness to perform depends on many factors:
- healthy active and passive musculoskeletal system
- healthy internal organs
- intact respiratory and cardiovascular system
- functioning digestive tract
- balanced temperament
For additional micronutrient and mineral supplementation, EquiGreen MicroMineral is generally recommended.
Complementary feed for horses
Composition: linseed, malt germs, hawthorn, brewer’s yeast, milk thistle herb, nettle, birch leaf, rosemary, ginkgo, dandelion
Analytical constituents and levels: crude protein 31.2%, crude fat 15.4%, crude fibre 11.5%, crude ash 5.4%, calcium 0.67%, sodium 0.11%, phosphorus 0.43%
Additives per kg: Nutritional additives: L-lysine monohydrochloride 130 g, L-methionine 3c305 - 55 g
Feeding recommendation: add 2 - 6 measuring scoops daily to the feed
