CEDERROTH Resuscitation Mask

Aid for correct mouth-to-mouth ventilation
The Cederroth resuscitation mask is an aid for correct mouth-to-mouth ventilation. At the same time, it reduces the risk of contact between helper and casualty. The resuscitation mask consists of a plastic sheet with a one-way valve. Clear instructions are printed directly on the sheet. The plastic sheet has clear instructions printed for the mouth-to-mouth ventilation method and for positioning the mask over the casualty’s face. The one-way valve indicates which side (green) should face the helper and which side (red) should face the casualty’s mouth. The size of the plastic sheet reduces the risk of the helper coming into contact with the casualty’s blood or vomit. The design of the mouthpiece forces the helper to open their mouth wide and seal their lips firmly around the casualty’s mouth, ensuring an airtight seal. The one-way valve is fitted with large holes, which reduces resistance. This way, the helper can maintain ventilation for longer periods.
