The Centrifuge 5425 is the new laboratory standard. With its capacity for 24 vessels and a speed of up to 21,300 x g, it is perfectly suited for all modern molecular biology applications in Eppendorf tubes and PCR vessels. The Centrifuge 5425 is used for the separation of liquid substance mixtures of different densities, in particular for the processing and analysis of samples from the human body as part of an in vitro diagnostic application, to enable the use of the in vitro diagnostic device in accordance with its intended purpose. This centrifuge, including its components, is an in vitro diagnostic device within the meaning of Directive 98/79/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 October 1998. Eppendorf centrifuges are intended exclusively for indoor use and for operation by trained specialist personnel.
