The 14 to 16-month-old child skeleton shows the unfused epiphyses of the long bones typical for this age, as well as the cartilaginous margins of many bones. The age of this skeleton was determined by a combination of measurements and landmarks. The frontal suture is almost completely closed. The atlas is in three parts, the axis is in four parts. The remaining cervical, thoracic and lumbar vertebrae are in two parts (body and arch). The first three sacral vertebrae are each in 5 parts. In the foot, the calcaneus, talus and cuboid can be clearly identified by their shape. The partially articulated skeleton is supplied on a stand as shown.
