Skin Suture Trainer
This training model allows surgical sutures to be practised again and again. The needle penetration behaviour of the artificial skin closely resembles the real-life model. Various skin suturing techniques (interrupted sutures, backstitch sutures and intradermal sutures) can be practised on this model. The material is very durable; even with frequent use, the wound edges of the artificial skin remain largely intact. This ensures long-term use of the training pad and keeps costs per student low while maintaining the highest possible training quality. Includes a holder with suction cups. Developed in collaboration with PD Dr. med. Sarah König, Learning Studio of Surgery, Department of General and Visceral Surgery, University Medical Center Göttingen.
