FLEXINEB C1 Medication nebulizer System

The Flexineb C1 works with the clinically tested Nortev nebulisation technology. The device is completely silent and therefore also suitable for very anxious animals. The medication is converted into a fine particle mist, allowing it to act effectively in the animal’s airways. Particles under 5 μm are absorbed via the lungs¹. Indications for inhalation:

- Feline asthma (asthma in cats)
- Canine asthma (asthma in dogs)
- Brachycephalic syndrome (in short-nosed animals such as Pugs, English and French Bulldogs, Boxers, Pekingese, Shih Tzu, Persian cats, Exotic Shorthair cats, etc.)
- Bronchitis (chronic bronchitis, “kennel cough”, i.e. tracheobronchitis)
- Pneumonia
- Rhinitis (in cats and rabbits)
- Aspergillosis (e.g. in birds)
- Herpesvirus (e.g. in reptiles)
- Mycoplasma infection (e.g. in reptiles)
- and many other respiratory diseases and clinical conditions

Advantages:

When medications are inhaled, they act locally. This means the medication works exactly in the airways. Thanks to the targeted effect, the dosage can be minimised, so the liver is hardly burdened with metabolism.

Medications:

Approved medications such as antibiotics or steroids can be inhaled using the device. Saline solutions to moisten the airways can also be administered by inhalation. Heating or denaturing of medications is not necessary.

Inhalation options:

- Inhalation via mask
The masks are available in 3 different sizes, all included in the scope of delivery. The large mask is suitable for animals from 10 kg body weight and above. The medium mask is suitable for body weights up to 10 kg. The small mask is suitable for all cat breeds, small dogs, rodents, birds, etc.
