- The proven TEPRO® is shaped like the most commonly used Macintosh blade. What makes it special, however, is the tapering near the handle section of the blade. This recess increases manoeuvrability and ease of handling of the blade during intubation. Despite protection of the upper front teeth due to the narrowing of the proximal blade, the tongue can be lifted and displaced to the side as in a normal intubation with a conventional Macintosh blade.
