- Querying and remote control of the scale via external control devices or computer using the KERN Communication Protocol (KCP). KCP is a standardised set of interface commands for KERN scales and other instruments, enabling retrieval and control of all relevant parameters and device functions. KERN devices with KCP can therefore be easily connected to computers, industrial control systems and other digital systems. The KCP protocol is largely compatible with the MT-SICS protocol. Only possible via RS-232 data interface; other interfaces available on request
