The innovative design of the tourniquet stabilises the vein to be punctured. This prevents “rolling veins” from slipping away and ensures that infusions can be inserted correctly. The “trick”: thanks to the cut-out, the vein is no longer constricted and, with blood flow maintained, the vein remains raised. In addition, the injection immediately enters the bloodstream. The tourniquet strap is autoclavable up to 120 °C.
