Especially in public areas, where first-aid measures are usually carried out by lay helpers, the HeartSave YA can play to its strengths.

In a paediatric emergency, you do not need special paediatric electrodes, as the HeartSave YA switches to a paediatric mode at the touch of a button.

Using the language selection button, the voice prompts can be switched between up to four languages during operation. In areas with users of a wide range of nationalities - industry, airports, public institutions - this increases the likelihood that the HeartSave YA can be clearly understood and used safely.

To ensure it is always available safely and reliably, the HeartSave YA performs an extensive self-test daily. This checks the technical condition of the AED, the remaining battery capacity, and the expiry date of the electrodes. Readiness is indicated by a clearly visible and intuitively understandable 'OK' on the device.

The HeartSave YA is a fully automated defibrillator that, if a shock is required, triggers it completely independently. This variant is particularly advantageous for unsure or hesitant first aiders, as the shock - if necessary - is delivered to the casualty safely.
