FUNCTIONS

The hydraulic hand dynamometer from SAEHAN has several special features that are suitable for both standard screening work and for diagnosing hand trauma and hand conditions.

Dual measuring scale:
Displays grip strength in kilograms and English pounds. The maximum reading is 90 kilograms or 200 pounds.

Peak value indicator needle:
Practical and easy to read, this peak value indicator needle automatically retains the maximum measured value. The needle remains at the reading until it is reset.

Accurate and reproducible:
This SAEHAN hand dynamometer enables isometric strength measurement—almost without any perceptible movement of the handles—regardless of the respective grip strength. This ensures accurate and reproducible measurement results.

Adjustable handle:
To accommodate different hand sizes, the handle can be adjusted to 5 different grip positions: from 3.5 cm to 8.6 cm grip span, in increments of 1.3 cm.
As grip strength may vary within the same patient, this feature allows the therapist to determine grip strength accurately even when measuring at different grip spans.
