Suitable for all Compur/Bayer practice photometers such as D 1, D 2, D 3 and Minilab.
With the practical break-off closure cap, ready to use,
incl. end-to-end capillary 5 µl / 10 µl.
Carefully break off the round closure cap of the cuvette.
Hold the end-to-end capillary to the blood drop on the fingertip so that the capillary fills completely with blood. Any blood adhering to the outside must be wiped off. Avoid air bubbles.
Place the filled capillary into the cuvette.
Put the cap on and shake the cuvette until the blood has been completely rinsed out of the capillary. Afterwards, the capillary should be located in one corner of the cuvette.
After a reaction time of at least 3 minutes, place the cuvette with the transparent sides into the optical path of the photometer and start the measurement.
Important:
If you accidentally place the cuvette into the optical path with the grip side (ribbed side), this will lead to incorrect readings. Turn the cuvette and measure again.
