TRIAMED ARMFIX Shoulder orthosis

Used for minor bruising, sprains, dislocations and scapulohumeral periarthritis.

Made from a textile with a muscle-relaxing effect by retaining local warmth.

The orthosis covers the shoulder and arm and is fitted with a fastening strap under the opposite armpit, which has a protective sleeve.

The orthosis provides elastic support for the shoulder joint and can be used both as an orthopaedic treatment for minor disorders and for recovery after immobilisation.

Thanks to the fastening strap with 2 buckles, the orthosis can be worn on both the left and the right shoulder. The length can be adjusted by cutting at stitch level to avoid tearing the fabric and repositioning the “crocodile” Velcro fasteners.

It can be adjusted to provide optimal compression and can be used during sports activities that place excessive strain on the shoulder joint.

The orthosis is made of a three-layer laminated textile:

• Asterix - The polyamide fibre is highly resistant to chemical and biological agents, is abrasion-resistant and does not absorb water.

• Moltopren (MTP) - air-permeable open-cell polyurethane foam (airflow in both directions is inversely proportional to the foam density) with high moisture-absorbing properties.

• Jersey Cotone SOFT - 100% cotton or cotton with elastane - elastane (for increased elasticity).

The laminated composite acts as a moisture regulator: the cotton fabric absorbs body perspiration and transfers it to the PU foam and to the outside.

The size is determined by the upper arm circumference.
