Airway Management Trainer Adult
The adult intubation trainer is ideal for airway management training. It features a realistic, true-to-life anatomy, which is exposed via a lateral opening on the left side of the face. This allows the intubation procedure to be observed precisely and corrected if necessary. The transparent walls of the pharynx and trachea also provide ideal visual control.
Easy access to the airway
The head can be lifted and extended. The foam cushion is used to support the head to achieve the optimal starting position.
Esmarch manoeuvre
The Esmarch manoeuvre can be performed in anatomically correct form.
Intubation
The Ambu intubation trainer is suitable for performing nasal and oral intubation using various products such as an endotracheal tube, laryngeal mask, laryngeal tube and Combitube. In addition, suction techniques for the mouth and pharyngeal cavity as well as the trachea can be practised.
Audible signals
- Teeth alarm. An audible signal is triggered if too much pressure is applied with the laryngoscope to the incisors.
- Stomach alarm. The oesophagus is sealed with a plug with an integrated acoustic signal generator. This is triggered in the event of incorrect intubation with a tracheal tube in the oesophagus.
Stand
The stand, made of lightweight aluminium, is fitted with non-slip rubber feet.
Drawers
The stand has two practical drawers for accessories: laryngoscope, tubes, masks, lubricating gel, brush, etc.
