Surgical wound, with suture, 22 cm
This wound replica made from skin-friendly material adheres on its own to the skin of a simulation patient, a mannequin or to the supplied base. The wound can be attached to any part of the body, e.g. over the knee to simulate a wound after knee endoprosthesis surgery, or as a wound after a caesarean section. The soft material moves with the body and can also be applied over joints. If the adhesive strength of the wound decreases, it can be reactivated simply by wiping the back with medical alcohol. For longer-term attachment during a course, we recommend a suitable skin adhesive.
