Lastotel is a highly elastic retention bandage with chain threads made of crimped polyamide and weft threads made of skin-friendly hydrophilic fibres. Lastotel can be applied quickly and easily; complicated bandaging techniques are unnecessary.
Application:
For all types of retention bandages, especially on joints as well as on conical and rounded body parts; thanks to the hard-wearing fabric, very suitable for wrapping splints.
Characteristics:
Lastotel is approx. 140% stretchable and can also be applied to conical body parts or joints without reversal turns.
Bandages made from Lastotel do not constrict and do not impede blood circulation or the desired joint movements.
The bandage has a crepe-like surface structure so that the individual turns adhere to each other without slipping. The bandages fit reliably and are non-slip.
Lastotel is soft and air-permeable and can be sterilised (steam A 134 °C).
Various versions of Lastotel are available as bulk packs of 100 bandages in compact packaging, which offers not only economic but also ecological advantages: the compact packaging saves packaging material, helps avoid waste and reduces transport and storage volume.
