For hesitant or uncertain users, the HeartSave YA is the ideal choice. It delivers the shock automatically and fully autonomously to the patient, without the first aider having to trigger defibrillation themselves. This ensures that the life-saving energy is administered safely and reliably.
Especially in public areas, where first-aid measures are generally carried out by lay responders, the HeartSave YA can demonstrate its strengths.

In a paediatric emergency, you do not need special electrodes for children, as the HeartSave YA switches to a paediatric mode at the press of a button.

Using the language selection button, the voice prompts can be switched during operation between up to four languages. In areas with users of many different nationalities – industry, airports, public institutions – this increases the likelihood that the HeartSave YA can be understood and used safely.

To ensure it is always available safely and reliably, the HeartSave YA performs an extensive self-test every day. This checks the technical condition of the AED, the remaining battery capacity, and the expiry date of the electrodes. Readiness is indicated by a clearly visible and intuitively understandable 'OK' on the device.

The HeartSave YA is a fully automated defibrillator that, if a shock is required, triggers it completely independently. This version is particularly advantageous for uncertain or hesitant first responders, as the shock – if necessary – is delivered safely to the casualty.
