The pelvic sling is used for immobilisation and stabilisation of a pelvic fracture at the accident scene. Fractures of the pelvic ring are extremely painful and the resulting bleeding can lead to a life-threatening condition. The cuff integrated into the pelvic sling can be inflated and applies lateral pressure to the pelvis, resulting in a significant reduction of life-threatening internal bleeding and pain relief.
1 CUFFS: Both lateral cuffs are connected to each other and can be inflated with the hand pump for ideal stabilisation of the pelvis.
2 HAND PUMP: For inflating and deflating both cuffs.
3 SLIDE RAIL/KNEE FIXATION: For guiding the sling under the patient’s pelvis. After removal, can be used as a knee fixation.
4 FIXING STRAP: Length-adjustable for flexible size adjustment.
