The microscope slides have an opaque labelling field in 7 standard colours: white, blue, pink, yellow, green, orange and violet. This allows different specimens to be identified or marked according to urgency, examination method, staining technique, etc. The coating of the labelling field is resistant to all common solvents. When several slides are stacked, the coating prevents them from sticking together and scratching. The label is on the upper side of the microscope slide, making it easy to recognise the “correct” side at a glance. The microscope slides are ready to use immediately.
