Please make sure when placing your order to select whether you require an assembly service for the bed or not (variant selection – with or without assembly):

If you order the bed with assembly service, an installation appointment must be arranged via our customer support. Due to capacity constraints, a prompt installation appointment after delivery cannot always be guaranteed, so please allow for possible waiting time between delivery and assembly.

Please also note that the bed is delivered by the manufacturer “kerbside only” (to the pavement). As a rule, it will not be delivered to the place of installation. By the agreed installation date, it must be ensured that the bed to be assembled is already at its final installation location and that the premises have been prepared accordingly for installation in terms of space and cleanliness.

Product description:

aks developed the SB L to XXL bed series for heavy and tall patients. The SB L model is intended for people up to 150 kg body weight who, due to their anatomy, cannot be cared for with standard beds.
The SB XL can be used for people in need of care up to a body weight of 200 kg and features higher end panels and three side rail bars. SB XXL completes the heavy-duty range. Thanks to the particularly robust double scissor lift, the heavy-duty bed easily achieves the top performance of up to 300 kg patient weight.

The active stand aid with optimised kinematics

The mobile active stand aid aks-torneo® II is primarily suitable for people with residual mobility. The process of standing up is particularly gentle. Kinematics takes priority: the patient’s movements are optimally supported by the lifter.

The universal mesh sling offers great flexibility: the shoulder loops are adjustable in 3 positions to achieve the optimal position, and the leg loops are even adjustable in 4 positions. Optimal seating comfort when used with the aks tandem spreader bar (see image). Three grab loops on the sling help with positioning the patient during the transfer process. The single-layer mesh material is highly water-permeable and dries quickly, ideal for use in wet areas (bathing). This sling is also particularly suitable for patients with leg amputations.
