The suprima protector briefs offer proven protection against fall-related injuries to the femoral neck. The protectors are manufactured to be so flat that they do not add bulk. Comfortable wear is guaranteed, even when lying down. The waistband is seamless circular-knit, ensuring a perfect fit. In addition, the particularly wide comfort waistband provides a pleasant feel. In this model, the washable protectors are firmly sewn into the hip protector briefs. This way, they cannot be removed by the patient. The blend of cotton, polyamide and elastane ensures excellent machine-wash properties and durability.

- Opened containers can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

- Increased energy and nutrient requirements
- Wasting diseases
- Impaired wound healing
- Fluid restriction (e.g. in renal insufficiency during dialysis)

- Chronic inflammatory bowel disease
Contraindications:
- General contraindications for enteral nutrition such as intestinal atony, ileus, acute gastrointestinal bleeding.
- Not suitable in severe malabsorption.
- Relative contraindication in hepatic insufficiency, renal insufficiency, acute pancreatitis depending on the patient’s status.
- Not suitable in congenital metabolic disorders or intolerance to any ingredient contained in Fresubin 2 kcal Drink or Fresubin 2 kcal fibre Drink.
- In severe organ failure such as severe hepatic or renal insufficiency, Fresubin 2 kcal Drink or Fresubin 2 kcal fibre Drink should be used with caution depending on the patient’s nitrogen tolerance.
