Alma
Alma is made from high-quality hygienic plastic. It can be cleaned in the dishwasher, including the securing Velcro strap.

What for?

Whether it’s the phone to call for help, a thirst-quenching drinking cup or tissues – it is reassuring when these items are within easy reach. Other small essentials also include glasses and the remote control.

Simply and securely attached to the care bed

Alma is clipped onto the side rail of the care bed. Whether on the inside or outside – you can decide individually where to attach it. The supplied securing Velcro strap allows damage-free attachment. Advantage of the Velcro strap: it enables Alma to be fixed in the position where it is easiest to reach.

Individual fastening

The length of Alma’s securing Velcro strap can be adjusted optimally. To do this, simply fasten the Velcro strap through the eyelet on the front so that it can be easily gripped. Then pull the Velcro strap through the eyelet on the back and secure the length. This process only needs to be done once.

The Dr. Winkler Small Butterfly Pillow 40×60 is an anatomically shaped pillow for restful and relaxed sleep. The shaped inflatable inner section is the key component of the Butterfly Pillow.

The inflatable inner section is made from a soft TPU film and, unlike the Butterfly Pillow 40×80, has only one air chamber. Thanks to its quick and easy use, this pillow is particularly suitable as a travel pillow.

The Small Butterfly Pillow 40×60 is also a fully fledged anatomically shaped pillow with all the advantages of the shape-stable inflatable inner section. The central part is a dimensionally stable neck roll with a flat head support behind it. The neck roll provides good support in the cervical spine area and creates an important stretch in the back area. To the left and right of the neck roll there is a semi-circular air cushion on each side, serving as a lateral head support to keep the mouth and nose unobstructed.

In use, inflate the inflatable inner section only slightly; the pillow should remain soft. It is important that the rounded, thicker part of the neck roll lies under the neck and that the head itself lies lower. This achieves the desired stretch in the cervical spine area. The height and firmness of the pillow can be adjusted by the amount of air.

The inflatable inner section sits inside a padded, quilted fleece cover, and on top of that you also have a white pillowcase made from 100% cotton fabric. The Dr. Winkler Centre Cushion is a pillow with an inflatable inner section for comfortable central positioning of the head and stable support of the cervical spine.

The Dr. Winkler Bandscheibenfreund was developed as a back support cushion for ergonomically correct support of the lumbar spine when sitting, and to mobilise pressure points in the back area with a shaped inflatable inner insert. The Bandscheibenfreund has a specially back-shaped inflatable inner insert designed by Dr. Winkler.

The height and firmness of the back support are adjusted by the amount of air. Lightweight and flexible. The Bandscheibenfreund is hung over the backrest using a securely attached 80 × 5 cm strap with counterweight and positioned exactly where you find it most comfortable.

The inflatable cushion of the Bandscheibenfreund measures approx. 34 × 20 cm and hangs centrally in the lumbar area on the chair backrest. Thanks to the adjustable positioning with the strap, you achieve the desired mobility and also a continual slight change in the pressure points being addressed.

The Dr. Winkler Bandscheibenfreund with hand pump was developed as a variably adjustable back cushion for ergonomic support of the lumbar spine while sitting and for mobilising pressure points in the back area. The Bandscheibenfreund with hand pump features an inflatable inner cushion specially shaped for the back by Dr. Winkler.

The height and firmness of the back support are regulated by the amount of air via an attached hand pump. Lightweight and flexible. The cushion is inflated with the hand pump and deflated using the release valve.

With the double bed bridge, you can cover hard edges and close draughty gaps between the mattresses in your double bed. The film is placed between the mattresses and inflated to fit. Two cover sheets, each 13 cm wide, are unfolded. Colour: white. Size: approx. 180 cm long, 8 cm diameter.

The Dr. Winkler elastic anti-snoring chin strap was developed based on the finding that snoring is often due to muscle weakness and helps to keep the mouth closed. Hand-sewn from black elastic cotton fabric. The elastic anti-snoring strap is fastened at the back of the head with a hook-and-loop fastening. The wide elastic band, also closed with a hook-and-loop fastening, runs across the forehead and the back of the head, holds the strap securely and helps prevent it from slipping forwards or backwards. Helping to keep the mouth closed during sleep is also commonly used in the treatment of sleep apnoea.

Using the chin strap is recommended for patients who sleep with their mouth open and who use either mandibular advancement splints or nCPAP. In these patients, the chin strap can significantly reduce or prevent drying of the oral mucosa.

The Dr. Winkler honeycomb seat cushion was developed to provide even pressure relief when sitting and to reduce pressure peaks. The inflatable seat cushion has 42 interconnected air chambers. It naturally promotes pressure distribution and helps prevent pressure sores.

When inflated, the honeycomb seat cushion is only approx. 3 cm high. Compared with other seat cushions, this very thin cushion adapts well to its surroundings and does not add bulk. When deflated, the honeycomb seat cushion can be folded down small and, at 140 g, is very lightweight.
