The Dr. Winkler sleep mask is a large and comfortable mask for relaxation at home and when travelling. Wearing the sleep mask signals that you do not want to be disturbed. Lined with PUR foam and with a nose pad. The elastic straps around the head are adjustable. Outer fabric made of 100% cotton in many colours and patterns. Inside, neutral black viscose fabric.

However, the sleep masks are not only used for sleeping. They are also a blackout mask, relaxation mask or therapy mask. In long-term research projects, a wide range of applications were developed on the topics of “Conscious Blind Seeing” and “Relaxation Bridges”. Wilm-Peter Möllmann from Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences in Mönchengladbach gives the tips: “Let come what comes” is certainly the right way to start with the mask. And an important part of the process is how spontaneously and intensely what comes communicates itself. At first, this may simply be tiredness or hunger, or the perception of how tense or relaxed one is, without having noticed it before.

The Dr. Winkler sleep masks are hand-sewn; on the inside, facing the eyes, we use a smooth and particularly densely woven black viscose fabric. The eye and nose area is padded with PUR foam cut-outs, the outside is made of a coloured cotton fabric, and the masks are edged with bias binding.
Two adjustable elastic straps, whose length can be individually adapted to head size, ensure good and comfortable use of the sleep mask.
Washable by hand wash with mild detergent.
