The Dr. Winkler Small Butterfly Pillow 40×60 is an anatomically shaped pillow for restful and relaxed sleep. The shaped inflatable inner section is the key component of the Butterfly Pillow.

The inflatable inner section is made from a soft TPU film and, unlike the Butterfly Pillow 40×80, has only one air chamber. Thanks to its quick and easy use, this pillow is particularly suitable as a travel pillow.

The Small Butterfly Pillow 40×60 is also a fully fledged anatomically shaped pillow with all the advantages of the shape-stable inflatable inner section. The central part is a dimensionally stable neck roll with a flat head support behind it. The neck roll provides good support in the cervical spine area and creates an important stretch in the back area. To the left and right of the neck roll there is a semi-circular air cushion on each side, serving as a lateral head support to keep the mouth and nose unobstructed.

In use, inflate the inflatable inner section only slightly; the pillow should remain soft. It is important that the rounded, thicker part of the neck roll lies under the neck and that the head itself lies lower. This achieves the desired stretch in the cervical spine area. The height and firmness of the pillow can be adjusted by the amount of air.

The inflatable inner section sits inside a padded, quilted fleece cover, and on top of that you also have a white pillowcase made from 100% cotton fabric. The fleece cover is open at the side where the air valve is, so you can reach the air valve quickly and easily. The pillowcase has a hotel closure.

The Dr. Winkler Centre Cushion is a pillow with an inflatable inner section for comfortable central positioning of the head and stable support of the cervical spine.

The inner section of the Centre Cushion measures 34 × 34 cm and has a hole in the middle. The height and firmness of the pillow are easily adjusted by the amount of air.

The Centre Cushion consists of three parts: the inflatable inner section, a padded quilted fleece cover and, on top, a Centre Cushion pillowcase made of 100% cotton fabric in the colours white or mid-blue.

With the double bed bridge, you can cover hard edges and close draughty gaps between the mattresses in your double bed. The film is placed between the mattresses and inflated to fit. Two cover sheets, each 13 cm wide, are unfolded. Colour: white. Size: approx. 180 cm long, 8 cm diameter.

The Dr. Winkler elastic anti-snoring chin strap was developed based on the finding that snoring is often due to muscle weakness and helps to keep the mouth closed. Hand-sewn from black elastic cotton fabric. The elastic anti-snoring strap is fastened at the back of the head with a hook-and-loop fastening. The wide elastic band, also closed with a hook-and-loop fastening, runs across the forehead and the back of the head, holds the strap securely and helps prevent it from slipping forwards or backwards. Helping to keep the mouth closed during sleep is also commonly used in the treatment of sleep apnoea.

Using the chin strap is recommended for patients who sleep with their mouth open and who use either mandibular advancement splints or nCPAP. In these patients, the chin strap can significantly reduce or prevent drying of the oral mucosa.

A/B large-cell mattress overlay system for Level I (according to Seiler)
Experience shows that mattresses with a honeycomb-shaped surface are only recommended for short-term care.

For longer periods of more than approx. 6 months, the large-cell version such as Medi-Cell Plus should be chosen.

Large-cell, ribbed surface with 22 cells, 12 of which are Micro-Vent ventilated, individually replaceable (without overlay), made of PVC.

As a general rule, use together with a sheet is recommended. Equipped with tuck-in flaps at the head and foot end.

Medi-Cell Plus can be fitted with a stretchy, blue waterproof cover made of air-permeable nylon (removable and washable up to 60 °C). Simply unbutton and put into the washing machine for cleaning.

Alternating-pressure anti-decubitus system with ventilated overlay for Grade II (according to Seiler)

At a 6-minute cycle, 50% of the overlay surface is inflated with air while the other half is deflated. This alternating-pressure mattress with large, replaceable air cells provides added comfort: air is continuously released through micro-perforations from 8 of the 18 cells to optimise the bed microclimate. Medi-FLow can be fitted with a stretchable, blue waterproof cover made of air-permeable nylon (removable and washable up to 60 °C). Simply unbutton and place in the washing machine for cleaning. The inflation pressure of the automatically inflating and deflating cells can be adjusted to the optimal level depending on the patient’s body weight. The cushions from shoulder level down to the hips are ventilated, ensuring maximum lying comfort, especially in the sacral area.

Information:
The polyester pile contains a high proportion of continuously renewed air. The constant circulation of air ensures the removal of body moisture and maintains a consistent temperature and a healthy, dry lying surface. This underlay guarantees optimum climatic conditions in all seasons. The surface pressure of the body is distributed extremely favourably by the hollow fibre. Pressure-related disturbances of blood circulation are effectively prevented through pressure relief. This creates an additional regulation of oxygen supply.
