The basic system consists of:

Other probes can be connected optionally: measurement of the viscoelastic properties of the skin (biological skin age) by suction using negative pressure from the device (the skin’s ability to resist suction vs. its ability to return to its original state after the negative pressure is released, in %). As the elasticity measurement requires a vacuum pump in the device, it cannot be added to the system at a later date and must be included in the base unit.
