NATURAL JOINT MOBILITY

Unlike skeletons with metal hinges, Oscar can move his joints freely. The joint surfaces glide over one another and are not unnaturally far apart, as is often the case with other models. This allows not only rotational movements to be demonstrated, but also all gliding movements within the joint. Thanks to the quick-release fastener, the connections can be detached and reassembled in seconds. Removing the limbs is therefore very easy.

IDEALISED SKULL

The three-part skull was digitised and adapted so that it corresponds exactly to standard anatomy. The size corresponds to the European average size; all important structures, fissures, foramina and processes are present. The skull can be dismantled into the cranial base, mandible and calvaria. The calvaria is aligned to the cranial base with metal pins and held in place by magnets. Unlike almost all competitors’ skulls, this technology means no pin can break off, and no gap forms between the calvaria and the cranial base. There are no annoying locking hooks that can bend or break.

The spine of the skeleton shows the spinal nerves, the vertebral artery and a dorsolateral herniated disc.

This moulage is made of silicone and depicts an open fracture at the ankle joint. The protruding bone is made of firmer silicone so that it can be identified as bone, while still being soft enough to prevent injuries during training. The moulage is self-adhesive on manikins or human skin. Application using moulage adhesive is also possible; however, using adhesive will permanently cause the moulage to lose its self-adhesive property. All wounds are packed in plastic boxes to ensure safe storage.

Human torso model, bisexual

This full-size, life-size torso model consists of 40 parts and reproduces the anatomy of the human torso down to the smallest detail. Thanks to the clear presentation of the anatomical details, the torso model is ideal for patient education, and of course also for use in schools and universities as a teaching aid. The torso model stands on a stable base.

All important systems and anatomical structures are accessible on this torso model:

- The back is open, showing muscle layers, the spine and nerve branches. Two vertebrae can be removed; they show in accurate detail the structure of a thoracic and a lumbar vertebra, as well as the structure of the spinal cord, spinal nerves and the three meninges.

Development and assessment of patient care and nursing assistant competencies as well as auscultation skills with the all-in-one training mannequin!
